Colloid systems laboratory

The laboratory deals with the production of colloidal systems and stable suspensions based on carbon nanomaterials with their further use in various industries: application in paint and polymer materials; ceramic coatings modification; elastomeric compositions performance characteristics improvement (rubber, caoutchouc, etc.); radio protective coatings development.

Applied researches

  • studying the production of colloid systems and CNM stable suspensions;
  • identifying ways to solve problems of colloidal solution separation on monodisperse fractions and their extraction;
  • researching CNM aggregative stability processes in polymers, elastomeric compositions.

Technological processes development

  • developing the technology of submicron fraction extraction from the obtained CNM;
  • producing CNM stable suspensions in water and organic solvents;
  • developing the technology of CNM addition to polymers, elastomers, paint materials.
