Laboratory of Electrochemical Nanomaterials
We provide a wide range of Services
We develop advanced electrochemical processes for synthesizing, modifying, and characterizing functional nanomaterials with precise control over composition, morphology, and reactivity.
Our research powers innovations in energy storage, corrosion protection, sensors, and sustainable electrocatalysis.
Electrochemical laboratory
The main research directions
- Developing resource-saving environmentally friendly technologies of chemical galvanic processing of metals, alloys, plastic plating, including the use of:
- low-concentrated electrolytes;
- intense nonstationary current loads, hydrodynamic modes;
- combined local diagrams of technological solutions regeneration;
- ventilation emissions cleaning;
- recycling water consumption.
- Developing resource-saving environmentally friendly technologies of chemical galvanic processing of metals, alloys, plastic plating, including the use of:
- Integrated electrochemical activation, carbon nanosized materials (CNM) modification which allows carrying out their purposeful functionalization, developing surface chemistry, selectively removing metal-catalysts impurities, optimizing electrocatalytic, hydrogen sorption, sedimentative, capacitive and other properties,greatly increasing efficiency of their use.
- Application of polyfunctional coatings including composite ones in the form of metals, alloys, conversion coatings as inorganic compounds, anodic-oxide metals and alloys processing.
- One of the principal directions is to form polyfunctional composite nanostructured coatings, containing nanosized carbon and other materials; to research electrolytes-suspensions properties.
- Developing a new generation of electrochemical supercapacitors, Li-ionic current power supplies.
- Developing film electrocatalytic low-wearing electrode materials for electrosynthesis, electrochemical purification of industrial wastes.
